A Thank you from the silent majority behind every activist
thanks to you and all who are keeping an ever present watchful and
> critical eye on the details not only so that we are kept abreast of
> the progress and nature of these issues but even more importantly
> that "they" know there spotlighted in the public eye and know we
> know. It would be good to have a list of "the Good , the Bad and
> the Ugly" of the different legislative players in the arguments and
> decisions so that when it comes election time we vote in respect to
> their past actions as opposed to their words at election time.
> Honest elections and the faith that that is the case is the bedrock
> of all that follows. Next step is honest campaigning.
>
> Some time (more likely, always) those on the front line of important
> issues do not realize the support of the silent majority. Not
> everyone can rise to the occasion, financially, emotionally,
> politically, or time-wise, to take on the thankless job and personal
> risks inherent in pursuing and persisting on vital social issues. My
> efforts are made closer to my home front and I am familiar with the
> response "I just don't have time... I can't afford to contribute..."
> which can be frustrating to hear but must be respected, lives are
> difficult and we cannot know what another person's life entails.
> However there is something very important that everyone can do to
> support an issue they believe in and that is to tell those who are
> doing all the hard work that their efforts are recognized, valued and
> respected.... and of course, vote appropriately.
>
> So, though you don't know me; have never heard of or from me; and may
> never again hear from me again know how much those like me appreciate
> all that everyone is doing with regards to assuring us fair elections.
>
> A deep and heartfelt thank you.
